Hessel
The other stop in the Les Cheneaux chain is Hessel. Hessel was named after John Hessel, sawmill manager and first Postmaster in 1888. The antique wood boat show is held every August in Hessel. A classic display of the finest woodies you will see in one gathering. The people are friendly and the scenery is second to none. Hessel is a great place to visit.
